HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dh2671cl
Microsoft Windows 11

I was trying to play a new online MMO game and through it found out my laptop was behind in driver updates. But when following the prompts to check and update, it says everything is fine. That I am updated to the best driver, though the recommended one for the game came out 2 years ago. I'm not seeing any issues elsewhere and from my research found HP doesn't cover drivers for my laptop with the windows 11.

Should I uninstall 11 and reinstall 10? Do I bother when my laptop is fine? I could try to download a driver from Intel but it warns it'll uninstall any customizations from HP. Mostly I'm just worried I might be missing something or obsessing over nothing.

Hi:

I think you will be OK updating the Intel graphics driver to the latest version supported for the graphics adapter your notebook has.

But you have to manually install the driver.

Folks usually do this because some programs or games they run indicate the graphics driver is out of date, and the programs won't run.

If everything is running fine on W11, it is not necessary to update the driver.

I have to admit that I update the Intel graphics driver anyway, even though I have not personally had any problems running the programs I use.

See my knowledge base article at the link below for how to manually update the Intel graphics driver to the latest version.
