HP OmniBook X Flip 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 16-as0000 (AK4B2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi All,

I have a HP OmniBook X Flip. I installed the latest Intel Graphics Drivers from Intel website but then dues to stability issues I uninstalled it and re-installed the HP OEM Graphics Drivers SP162964.

After I noticed that "Intel(R) Graphics Display Service" - C:\windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\iigd_dch.inf_amd64_8b66287efe5e99a8\IntelDisplayUMService.exe

Will not start. When I try to start this service it says “The Intel(R) Graphics Display Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.”

Does anyone know if this services is required to be running?

I have tried re-installing SP162964. but the services still does not start and wondering if normal?

Thanks
