HP needs to release an update that can make any Surface Slim Pen 2 compatible with a newer version of Windows 11, and I would heavily use my Slim Pen 2 if HP MPP were compatible with the right version.

Hi @hmb6
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
The reported issue appears to be related to compatibility between the Surface Slim Pen 2 and the HP Spectre x360 14-eu0000, rather than a defect with the laptop itself. Please ensure Windows, BIOS, and HP drivers are fully updated, then re-pair and test the pen. If compatibility limitations remain, they are likely due to differences in supported pen protocols. We recommend using an HP-supported stylus for full functionality or submitting a feature enhancement request to HP for expanded Surface Slim Pen 2 compatibility.
- Wake and charge the pen: Place the pen in a compatible charging accessory to charge and wake it up before first use.
- Pair via Bluetooth:
- Navigate to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth.
- Press and hold the pen's top button for 5–7 seconds until the LED light flashes white to initiate pairing mode.
- Select Surface Slim Pen 2 from the list.
- Enable pen settings:
- Access Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Pen & Windows Ink > Tactile signals to turn on and customize tactile feedback
Take care and have an amazing day!
