Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I just bought the HP 14s-dq1504sa yesterday and I've set it all up and left it to charge for a while. When I turned it back on, the screen looks really smudged everywhere as though you're using an iPhone and have sweaty hands if that makes sense. The laptop screen is dry and hasn't been messed around with or anything and nothing online is seeming to help with this problem. The screen is really annoying me 😞

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • When was the last time it worked without these issues?
  • Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
  • Have you checked the display on an external monitor?

Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:

I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting, 

If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
