Would like to hook up dual monitors (HDMI) to my laptop (ProdID - 1UG6OUA#ABL).
The USB - C port has the lightning bolt so can I get a USB-C to HDMI adapter and hook one monitor via this and the other to the HDMI built in to the laptop?
Are there better alternatives?
Thanks, bks

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05582720
It has
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);
- 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (1 HP Sleep and Charge);
- 1 HDMI v2.0a;
- 1 headphone/microphone combo
The USB-C port above does not support video out as you thought. Please try

Hello Banhien,
Thx for letting me know that. I did not realize there were so many aspects to type c connectors.
The page you recommended has a latge number of choices for universal docking stns.
Can you guide me re what i need to look for when choosing from these? Will they all meet my need for dual difplay?
Thx again

Hello,
I do not understand the answer.
My question...
1) Since it seems like I only have 1 external port capable of video out, is there any way to connect dual monitors (not duplicated or mirrored) to my laptop?
2) Do I use a docking station or something else?
Thanks, Brian
