Hello!
Recently the display of my envy fell apart. I went to my seller to get it repaired. Unfortunately I'm not happy with the result.
On the bottom side there is a clearly visible gap and I can see the clips which I'd suppose to be there to hold the display where it belongs.
After some back and forth the HP manufacturer service said it was "within specification".
My question is: was this a mistake or is this really the quality standard for these devices?
I added some photos. The current state isn't very assuring. I'm concerned that the screen could pop back out at any time.
Please respond if that's really your quality standard.
Before the repair it looked like that (a common problem as you can easily find out googling)
before repair
Here you can see the clearly visible gap including a (barely) visible display clip.
gap in the middle
Here you can see two clearly visible display clips due to a way to large gap.
clearly visible clip and gap
another visible clip
Here you can see a photo from below. The display bulges clearly.
Sincerely
Tim

Hi @TimSch1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13-bd0xxx.
This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown, enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.
Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately it seems that you didn't properly read my post.
As I already wrote, the device got "repaired" but stil has issues. I want to know if that result is REALLY your understanding of quality assurance and quality standards like the service center claims.
