Similar to some other users, I have used my laptop to project using either HDMI or VGA through an adaptor. Suddenly this week, the laptop has stopped projecting. The projector or screen just says no signal. I have carried out the diagnostics advised, done a Windows reset, but neither of these have worked. This is so frustrating

I have the exact same problem on an Envy X360 and posted earlier about it: it stopped projecting through the adaptor connected via USB-C, though it recognises the external monitor/projector. As I also wrote, this seems to have coincided with a Windows update (maybe it was just a random coincidence...), but unistalling it solved nothing. Does yours also have the ryzen CPU/Vega GPU? Hope someone can help as I will need to borrow a laptop for teaching if this can't be sorted soon.

Cheers.

Mine has the Intel processor so not the same, I really don't know what else to do and the HP helpdesk is off line

Did this happen on the same day as a Windows update? Mine stopped working on the same day as the latest update (last Thursday) but uninstalling the update didn't help

This was last Wednesday, so I'm not sure if it is connected to the Windows update, although it wouldn't surprise me.
