Some marks have appeared over time on the top edge of the laptop screen. The marks are showing in four places: in the top corners, and where the touchpad edges line up with the top of the screen. Whilst the marks are small, I am concerned that they will continue to increase in size; I have seen similar posts with others reporting this or similar issues.
Others have speculated that this damage to the screen is unavoidable and due to a design flaw, where the top edge of the screen is not sufficiently protected from rubbing against the base. This seems plausible to me.
What can be done about this? I consider this laptop to be an expensive premium item, and am disappointed to see this sort of issue appearing before one year is up. All through no fault of my own.
Thank you for any suggestions.
