I have an HP Spectre x360  When multiple windows are opened - Outlook, Excel, Onenote or any other window - the top of each windows becomes semi translucent and shows vertical line ghosting of images behind each window.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display on your computer.

 

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then install all the Windows updates and check.

 

Here is how it is done.

 

  1. Select the Start (Windows) button from the bottom-left corner.
  2. Go to settings (gear icon).
  3. Select the Update and Security icon.
  4. Choose Windows Update tab in the sidebar (Circular arrows)
  5. Select Check for updates. If there is an available update, it will begin downloading automatically.

My screen is absolutely is gone. I can even control my laptop anymore. Please HP help me out, send me new laptop. Its been little over 1 year this what happened to $1500 laptop.

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
