HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0053dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I've seen similar posts but no real solution. Most of the time the trackpad works fine, but lately it just goes in and out. The 2 finger scrolling stops working, or just becomes erratic, tap to click stop working, I have to tap really hard or actually click, I end up just using the touch screen instead. Rebooting fixes the problem, but usually for about 5 minutes then it comes back. Overall diasppointed with this machine after 3 years. The screen is nice, but battery life sucks, speakers suck, and touchpad sucks. I'll probably be getting rid of this soon, but in the odd hopes that there is an actual solution for the trackpad other than rebooting (which is not a solution), I'm done with this one.
