Im not really a tech savvy  but when i try to check the device manager it shows that the "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" show an error code 10.

im trying to update it but it says that the "driver is  up to date". Im wondering how to fix this since probably its one of the reason why i cant play some games in my laptop properly.

any help about it? i dont want to break the laptop thats why im afraid to do some changes on it.

any walk-through would be really appreciated about this concern.

thanks eveyone!

Hi:

Your notebook is missing the graphics driver, but there are two different drivers that could be required.

In order to provide you the correct graphics driver to install I would need to know the product number of your notebook.

Use this guide to find that information...Please do not post the serial number.

also it shows in the device manager that i have intel(R) HD graphics 3000. is that my graphics drive?

You're very welcome.

Yes, the Intel HD 3000 is the graphics adapter, but if you also see a Standard VGA adapter, then your notebook must have the AMD/Intel switchable graphics.

See if installing this driver and restarting the PC, resolves the problem.

I manage to "fix"? The issue? (since I can see both the graphic drivers) by updating from Windows 7 to windows 10.

Now new concern is that whenever I try to play games using an "emulator" it shows that I need to "update my graphic card" but I try to do the auto update in device manager but I shows that both are up to date.

So the 2 that I can see there are:

amd Radeon HD 7400M series

Intel(r) HD graphics 3000

Any help for this?

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do because there are no W10 custom drivers released for the AMD/Intel switchable graphics your notebook has.

You will have to live with it the way it is, or go back to W7.
