My issue is that programs such as Word or Google Chrome (or sometimes both at once) are showing through other windows I have open. Even when I close Word/Chrome, it's still visible. I have no idea what's caused this, I've only had the laptop for a few weeks. I have spoken to a HP agent about it but nothing they suggested solved the problem. If you look closely at the photo I've included, you can see the outline of the 'Styles' section in Microsoft Word despite me not having Word open. The issue doesn't show up in screenshots, so this was the only way I could attach evidence.

@lexiehugo
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
- When was the last time it worked without these issues?
- Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
- Have you checked the display on an external monitor?
- What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
- What is the operating system?
let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:
I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,
If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
