HP Envy x360 AG-0022AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I'm using HP Envy x360 AG-0022AU with Ryzen 5. I plan to buy an active pen. I have no idea about my laptop is supporting active pen or not since when i opened HP Pen Control app, it said that "HP Pen Control is not compatible with that computer". Does it mean I can not use active pen? or if its possible for me to use, what is the compatible model for my laptop?

I get confuse for there are several type for HP Pen and when i googled, like there are hp stylus pen, hp active pen, lot of name. 😅

Thank you for your help.

Not sure about the error, though it is possible you need the pen first.

Two pens for this model:

HP Tilt Pen    2MY21AA

HP Pen           1MR94AA

Open  Software and Drivers

Open Category Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices

Driver / Information for HP Pen, select HP Pen Control Application >  click "Learn More"

Driver for HP Tilt Pen, select driver HP Tilt Pen >> for your version of Windows 10

Thank you for your response.

There are 2 version of HP Tilt Pen Driver; v1803 and v1909.

I tried to install the lates v1909, but it said that "The driver is not supported by OS version). I'm using Win 10 home version 10.0.18363. Then I tried to instal v1803, and it installed correctly, but the problem still same, "HP Pen Control is not compatible with that computer".

You said that "Not sure about the error, though it is possible you need the pen first",

I'll try to buy it tomorrow, and let you know the result.

Thank you for your support.
