Hi. My HP stylus doesn't work. I tried to open it but it wont. I finally managed to open it but the inside looked narly. It seems like the AAAA battery inside got some sort of leakage and powdery and I cant remove it. Is it still possible to recover my stylus? Thank you.

I understand that a stylish pen is not working.

  I would suggest you to update the Bios and Chipset drivers on your PC from our HP Support website, using this link.

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 
2. Check for updates. 
3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

I understand your concerns

Try to clean the inside with mild alcohol using the cloth and check. 

If that does not work. Then you have to replace the pen.
