Is there a supported HDMI splitter for dual monitors for HP Laptops. I have a Selore and it works perfectly for my old Dell but not at all for my HP. Each of my two monitors work perfectly when plugged in directly nut nothing when I try to use the splitter.  Thanks

The HDMI slitter is a joke, I won't give extended monitors. The specs of your machine is

               https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06696169

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

                         True Universal Docking Stations
