JUST Got brand new hP spectre x360, product #: 13t-aw000 CTO but when I press F1 sure view privacy screen doesnt work. The F1 key reduces the brightness and thats it but Person sitting next to me can still see the screen.
I have an HP elite book and I know how this functionality is supposed to work it’s definitely not working on my Spectre.
Any suggestions???

Given your machine has SureView option. I don't know the generation of your machine but please try
- f2: Turns the privacy screen on or off. (for Gen 2)
- fn + f2: Turns the privacy screen on or off. (for Gen 1)
Regards.

My laptop key setting is different. F1 has privacy filter on/off. F2 reduces brightness and F3 increases brightness.
The suggested solution doesn't work.
As I mentioned, I've a HP 840 G5 and know how this functions is supposed to work. When I press F1 on my laptop it only dims the brightness of the display, the person sitting next to me and even further can read everything.
Any other suggestions. This is the latest "Spectre x360 13 Convertible" I got yesterday. June 2020 model and its a shame that out of the box its not working the way it should. Its touch screen and can be folded over completely to be used as a big tablet.
