Hi,
I bought a new laptop this week in Switzerland (Elitebook 830 G6, model number 6XD21EA#UUZ). The store's website lists this product has a SureView screen. I rolled our (generic) company image out on it (Windows 10 build 1903), i.e. it doesn't have the stock image anymore.
However, when I press the F2 button, I do see an screen icon showing it's activated, but it only dims the screen. I.e. it's identical to just manually reducing brightness to the minimum.
It does have a pretty crappy (i.m.h.o...) but also very bright TN panel, so I'm tempted to say the model has SureView as the store's website said. Can you confirm this and, if so, do I need to install any drivers or enable some BIOS setting?
Do I need to install any specific drivers, or does this model just not have the feature?
Thanks!
