I have an issue that needs urgent attention.
I was forced to do a reboot of my laptop after it crashed and when I powered it back on, the touchpad was not working. I was Googling for solutions and one of them was to uninstall the mouse from Device Manager which I did as I was told it would reinstall itself the next time I booted up.
However, when I booted up, the mouse was gone from Device Manager and my touchpad was still not working. I have no touchpad option in my mouse settings. I tried downloading drivers from here but they did not work. Please advise as to how to fix this problem.
