Product: HP 250 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP 250 G7 - Synaptics Touchpad cursor freezes randomly..

this after Windows 11 latest upgrade install on 2/7/22

latest Synaptics touchpad driver is installed.. dated 4/20/20 vers 19.5.35.54

no new drivers are available at HP support or I can find on Synaptics or internet

HP Support suggested Clean boot.. tried that but still had issue immediately after laptop reboot

I even let battery discharge completely and tried hard boot.. but still no good

Now HP Support says to do an OS re-install.. sheesh

 

Any suggestions short of OS system re-install would be appreciated.
