Synaptics once again...

 

I have a Spectre x360 15t-ch0xx.  I've refreshed it several times, and I've always had to install a Synaptics driver to get full functionality:  scrolling, multi-finger gestures, etc.

 

I just refreshed it again, and now I can't find the driver.  The drivers on the HP support page don't do the trick, and I don't seem to have stashed a copy away.  I've seen several posts that claimed to answer the problem, but none I've tried have worked.  Help?  The touchpad isn't very usable without scrolling.
