Hello community!
After the upgrade to Windows 11, version 24H2, my touchpad is working pretty slowly, and I can't move it easily (as it has some kind of lag).
I've been trying to install the latest Synaptics touchpad driver, but it seems it's not available for Windows 11 on the HP official webpage.

@FerBal86, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding touchpad not working properly!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
First, how did you upgrade to Windows 11? Was it through Windows Update, an OEM tool, or a manual installation?
Just a heads-up: Windows 11 isn’t officially recommended by HP for your Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0009la, which might explain the driver issues.
That said, let’s try a few things:
- Check Windows Update for any driver updates under Optional Updates.
- Roll back to a previous driver: Go to Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices > Synaptics Touchpad, right-click, and select Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver.
- Adjust touchpad settings: Try increasing sensitivity under Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
- Reinstall the driver: Even if Windows 11 drivers aren’t available, a Windows 10 version might work.
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hello, Zoey 7886. Thanks for your reply.
I upgraded Windows through a Windows update. I checked the options you provided and none of them works.
If going back to Windows 10 will solve the issue, I'll have to do it. Can I request your assistance in sending me the steps I need to follow ?
Thanks
