Hi @si_sisi
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It looks like tablet mode isn’t working on your HP laptop, even when flipped. Windows 11 no longer has a manual tablet mode toggle, as it now automatically switches when a convertible laptop is detected.
If your laptop isn’t switching, here are some possible fixes:
Check Windows Tablet Mode Behavior
- Windows 11 automatically enables tablet mode when the keyboard is detached or flipped.
- If your laptop isn’t switching, it may not be recognized as a convertible device.
Update Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager).
- Expand Sensors and Human Interface Devices.
- Right-click each relevant driver and select Update driver → Search automatically.
Check Rotation Lock Settings
- Go to Settings → Display → Rotation Lock.
- If Rotation Lock is enabled, disable it and test tablet mode again.
Perform a System Update
- Go to Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates.
- Install any pending updates and restart your laptop.
Since Windows 11 automatically detects tablet mode, your laptop may not be recognized as a convertible device. Try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance! 🚀
