HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0049tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. Its been like 8 months since months since I bought my laptop. the text in some apps I downloaded now like EA game launcher, Blizzard launcher, Codeblocks, etc and some windows apps like device manager appears blurry. The app kind of looks dull and old and the text strains the eye. Never used these apps before so they appeared blurry in the first go.  Whereas the text in other windows apps and desktop icons is perfect clear. I tried changing the display settings of these apps as suggested by some people on some sites but didn't work. The fix scaling setting for the windows is also turned on. Please help me out with this problem.

Also my laptop froze 2nd time yesterday out of nowhere. when I wasn't even using a heavy software like my games. First it started malfunctioning clicks and then the keyboard stopped working along with the mouse. This didn't happen anytime till now. I clean the rear fan vents regularly and also checked that there was no clogging. Is there any problem with my laptop?

Please help

Thank You.

Hi @Bheshaj_M,

I'd like to help!

Try system restore to roll back to the date when it was working fine:-

1. Shutdown the computer.

2. Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3. Press F11 once for System Recovery.

4. Choose the Keyboard Layout.

5. Click on Troubleshoot.

6. Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Restore.

7. Choose a Restore point or a Restore date when the computer was working fine.

8. Click on OK to initialize the System Restore.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
