The backlight of my keyboard switches off after a couple seconds of idling. How do I turn this feature off? I want it to stay on untill I press tha button again.

@MisjMosj I hope you know that not all keyboards have an option to use the timeout feature by design, that's only available on limited devices, that said, here's all you need to know about using the backlight of your keyboard:

Toggle backlight settings:

If your notebook computer has a backlit keyboard, press the F5 or F4 (some models) key on the keyboard to turn the light on or off. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time.

If the backlight icon  is not on the F5 key, look for the backlit keyboard key on the row of function keys.

Thanks for this answer! So if the BIOS doesn't show an option to configure my backlit keyboard, there is no way of keeping it from turning off after a while? Not even in a way that's not build in the computer?

@MisjMosj That's right, I'm afraid there are no alternate options to it, you could check with local tech for alternate options, however, that's not supported by HP.
