HP Pavilion 15-AU062nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have tried adjusting the colors to no avail.  The blue is showing as a very light blue not the dark royal blue it should be for Microsoft.  The gray wording is showing very faintly and is very hard to read.

I have looked for any updates on down loads but could not find any.  When I plug the PC into a monitor the colors on the monitor are coming out closer to what I expect.

thank you for any assistance that can be provided.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well @JamesJay

I read your post about the PC display color issue and wanted to stop in to share my suggestions with you 🙂

I understand that you are getting faded colors on your notebook internal display. First off, try the steps listed here: HP Notebook PCs - Color variation on multiple screens | HP® Support

Also, check the steps below to try and change the color calibration on your PC:

  1. Press the Windows logo key and type dccw in the Desktop Search box and click the dccw.exe file
  2. You will get the Display Color Calibrator window.
  3. Go through the options to adjust the color calibration settings.
  4. It’s not very fancy, but should do the job 😉

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂
