Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

HP 250 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the issue with video card.

In particular:

When I'm starting my laptop doesn't work. The picture in BIOS is OK. When I'm doing hard test - OK. When I start Win 10.... I see Bootloader(Circle) then Winlogon for 2-3 sec. So, then I see image but without backlight. If you look closely there is an image.

I tried reinstall videodriver: HP(oldest and latest) - the issue, Intel - the issue, Microsoft default - OK. So, when there is Microsoft default driver no good to watching video or something else.

So, I tried to reinstall Windows - not helped.

So, I found the issue that when I'm starting without AC - OK. When I'm starting with AC power - it's the issue.

Why?

Found the reason in controlling the brightness of the screen. The "less" and "more" buttons (backlight) switch places. That is, when you press brighter - it makes it duller.
Did on minimum - backlight - OK.

LOL. Really.
