HP Notebook - 15-dw0007ua
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

HP Notebook - 15-dw0007ua.

Video adapters:
-intel uhd graphics 620
-nvidia geforce mx130

The screen flickers, sometimes it is expressed by short-term extinction for half a second, sometimes longer extinction, rarely 100% screen blanking without returning the image occurs. Only restarting the laptop helps.

The culprit was identified by disabling the video adapters, it turned out to be the built-in intel uhd graphics 620.

The laptop is new, began to flicker after a month of operation. The following self-medication methods were used:
1. Reinstalling drivers
2. Reinstall Windows
3. Driver updates for all

The intel uhd graphics 620 driver version is 26.20.100.7985.

Windows version - (windows 10) - 20H2 - (120.2212.31.0), build 19042.610.

Windows reinstalling several times, used different versions, starting from the very first build.

@pocoqie

I reviewed your post and I understand that the display flickers randomly.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp107501-108000/sp107533.exe

Intel: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105001-105500/sp105500.exe

If you continue facing the issue, then boot to BIOS (Restart the computer and start tapping the F10 key to boot to BIOS) and check whether the issue persists in the BIOS screen.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
