Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that there are flickering lines on your HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq105dx laptop's screen. Thanks for sharing the image. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Did any hardware changes take place on the laptop or any physical damage that happened?
- Do you have an external monitor to connect to the laptop and check the display quality on the external monitor?
Meanwhile, please perform the following steps:
- Power off the laptop.
- Remove the battery out. If the battery is integrated and does not have a latch to release it then leave the battery inside the laptop.
- Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
- Do not power on the laptop yet.
Let us now check in the BIOS if the display issue persists. The following steps will help:
- Power on the laptop and immediately hit the f10 key repeatedly (7-8 times) to enter the BIOS.
- Please check if the flickering lines appear in the BIOS. If yes then it points towards a hardware defect with the display. In such a case you may contact our HP phone support team to explore the hardware service options for your laptop.
I hope this information helps. Please feel free to keep me posted. Good luck! 🙂

Thank you for your replying with the results.
The presence of the flickering lines in the BIOS proves that there is a hardware issue with the display. I suggest you to contact our HP phone support to check the available service options for this laptop.
Keep me posted for any further questions. Take care!
