There is a white spot on the screen.

Today I noticed a white spot on my screen, It disappears when i shut down the pc. and when i press on it lightly it also disappears. A bit time ago I damaged the corner of the laptop slightly but it has no relations to this. Would that affect the warranty? Would the warranty cover it? Is there an alternative to fix it?

This looks like a hardware issue. . Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
