Example: Pavilion cc 132tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Three-finger tap to launch search is not working. But I can perform all other multi-finger gestures like three finger swipe to change from one program to another.

@ajith2444, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Press Win+X in combination and select ‘Control Panel’. In the right-corner section look for the ‘View By’ option.
  2. Change it to ‘Small icons’, and then click Mouse to open Mouse Properties.
  3. Switch to the touchpad tab, in this case ClickPad, and select Settings from the options displayed.
  4. Once, the control panel of touchpad is opened, switch to Click tab by clicking on the same.
  5. Now, look for the option titled Three-finger tap and Three Finger Click, and then select Cortana from the drop-down box adjacent to it.
  6. Control panel 3 touch
  7. Click OK and restart your computer.

Let me know how this goes.

That's unfortunate. Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, check for Windows update. Reboot the PC once done.

Let me know how it goes.
