Tiny crack in right upper corner of the screen.

I am new to this. I have a small crack in the upper right corner of my screen I need some advice as to what I can do. Should I send it to HP, buy a monitor to use with it, or what> The crack is not interfering with anything, but I travel a lot to Brazil and have to take it with me in a padded briefcase. I will be away from the USA for a prolonged period of time. What are my options?
