Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-eb1043dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
My webcam switch that toggles the black and white security cover has stopped working. I do not think it is a software or BIOS issue, as the switch itself is loose and very easy to move back and forth. Is there a way to manually or 'force' it somehow through my settings to move the security cover over my webcam, or will I need to get the switch fixed? If it is permanently 'open' that is fine too, as the camera should work fine, just simply the switch having issues.
I will add my camera switch was working fine yesterday, and of course decided to have this issue as soon as I go to hop on a meeting.
Any advice or fixes welcome.
