Hi, I'm having a problem with the touch pad and the touch screen of my HP Envy x360. After getting past the Windows 10 image creation and going through the usual settings I noticed the touch pad wasn't working. I've plugged in a mouse and updated the settings and restarted the machine and it's still not working. I have gone to device manager and the laptop isn't picking up the touch pad. The touch screen also isn't working I've gone to Human Interface Devices and checked for the HID-complaint vendor defined device and checked it's enabled which it is.
I've checked various forums and followed many fixes but I believe this is a hardware issue and the laptop probably needs to be returned, any advice?
