I installed a new windows (7 64-bit instead of 32-bit) and I had a feature in my touch pad that allowed me to enable/disable it when I double tap on the upper left corner (small orange light would appear when it's disabled) but once I installed the new windows it doesn't work anymore. Should I install a certain driver or something?

Hi,
Try installing the Synaptics software package on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48843.exe
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.
