Laptop 15-da1xxxn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was working on my laptop in morning and took a small break. After taking a small break when i started working again my laptop touchpad was not working it suddenly stopped responding.

Please help me with this issue .

The touchpad does not show up in device manager either. A USB mouse works fine. But suddenly it's as if the touchpad was never there. Also tried installing mouse drivers from hp for 20H2 windows version. But they don't make a difference. I gues it's because these drivers are not the latest ones (2018 / 2019). 

Weird part is. My laptop hasnt faced any physical force or any reason for the touchpad to physically disconnect. I strongly feel this is to do with the latest windows update.
