So I'm having an issue, my 3 year old decided to step on my HP 17 by0053cl and shattered the left 1/3 of the screen. I ordered a new screen online and after talking with the company they said I have to remove the Touch Screen Board and Film from my old screen to keep the touch working. My problem is I can't figure out how to remove the film. Or is the company just telling me this so I keep there product.

I also had this issue with an HP Chromebook 14, model 14-ca052wm. I ordered a new touch screen for it and the one I got I can't get the touch to work on. I made sure that all the numbers on the old screen and new screen match. Before someone ask's yes I'm sure my old screen was a touch screen, even the Chromebook say's touch screen on the little sticker on the palm pad.
