My screen has a crack in it so I turned off the touch screen ability and there have been no issues. But today somehow the touchscreen ability was activated and now it thinks I'm touching one spot over and over and I'm Not able to fix.

Hi @LeannaRunyan,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing touch screen problems with your HP Pavilion x360 Convertible laptop. Touch screen issues can be caused by various factors, including software or driver conflicts, hardware problems, or calibration issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem.
1. Restart your laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches. Shut down your laptop, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
2. Clean the screen: Ensure that your laptop's touch screen is clean and free from any dirt or smudges. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and gently wipe the screen.
3. Calibrate the touch screen: Windows has a built-in touch screen calibration tool that can help fix touch screen accuracy issues. Here's how to access it.
- Go to the Start menu and type "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input" in the search bar.
- Select the "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input" option from the search results.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your touch screen.
4. Update drivers: Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause touch screen problems. Visit the HP support website and download the latest touch screen drivers for your specific model. Install the drivers and see if it resolves the issue.
5. Check for Windows updates: Sometimes, Windows updates can include fixes for touch screen problems. Make sure your laptop is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Go to the Start menu, open the Settings app, navigate to "Update & Security," and click on "Check for updates."
6. Perform a system restore: If the touch screen problem started recently, you can try performing a system restore to a point when the touch screen was working fine. This will revert your system settings to a previous state. Be aware that performing a system restore will remove any software or driver installations made after the restore point.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
