@Aamer_Harata Thank you for replying,

Using a retail copy, downloaded off the internet isn't recommended by HP,

If you want to know where or how to get the HP OEM, I must let you know that it may have been created on your computer shortly after you purchased it, Although, if you haven't created one, you could always purchase it on the Official HP Softwares and drivers page: Click here.

The change in the way it looks or the whereabouts of the touchscreen settings tab could be a part of the OEM.

Let me know, how that goes or if you need any further information.

@Aamer_Harata Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

As I understand In Windows 10 after it was updated recently as you've informed the Personalize option in the desktop context menu (right-click menu), doesn't show up, to let you know it's replaced with the section of Settings app that allows you to change desktop background, taskbar and Start color and lock screen background, although I acknowledge that the long-time desktop users are missing the classic Personalization window. That said, here is the way to access the classic personalization windows:

Step 1: Open Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows and R keys.

Step 2: In the Run command box, type Control and then press Enter key to open Control Panel.

Step 3: Click the small down-arrow icon next to View by, and change to the view to small icons.

Step 4: Finally, locate the applet named Personalization and click the same to open the old Personalization window.

You could also attempt:

Step 1: Right-click anywhere on the desktop, click Personalize option to open Personalization section of Settings app.

Step 2: On the left-pane, click Themes to see Themes and Related settings.

Step 3: Finally, click Classic theme settings link to open the classic Personalization window.

Let me know if those steps worked for you.  If they did, that’s awesome!  Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
Good Luck.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your replay, but my question is a little bit different,

Before I change the operation system, there was a "tab" titled as (touch screen setting), this tab was located exactly inside the personalization window, I mean if you open the personalization window you will find the following tabs: (background - colors - lock screen - themes - Start). But in my old operation system there was some additional tab which was (touch screen settings), exactly this tab "or option" what I'm asking how to get it again.

Thank you very much

@Aamer_Harata Thank you for replying with the clarification, I appreciate that.

And to provide an accurate solution, i need a few more details about this concern:

is the touchscreen working fine?

Also the reason you changed windows was it related to any issues with the computer?

The new OS you've installed, is it an HP OEM (factory shipped) or a retail version from a local store?

Eagerly waiting to help!

I appreciate your help,

The touch screen is working perfect anyway, and the reason to change the operation system is because some harmful files I got. And the OS it was a copy from the internet, it wasn't HP OEM (I don't know how to get that).

Thank you

@Aamer_Harata

I'm glad I could be of assistance,

if there are updates available to fix your concern on the current OS, windows would automatically install them for you, so you don't have to worry about that and I hope you have a great weekend ahead 🙂
