Hey,

I created a new windows local user and logged in for the first time.

It showed me it had a couple of updates it needed before I could use it and I waited.

Unfortunately, the process was interrupted and when I booted the laptop again and logged into any existing user accounts, I only saw a black screen.

I tried many methods to solve it and ultimately had to reset my laptop before it got fixed.

I'm not sure if this was prior windows reset but I only noticed it after. My touchpad would start bugging. It would highlight things without me doing anything, the left and right touchpad buttons don't work, 2, 3 and 4 finger gestures don't work and I cant even tap click my touchpad.

I have tried reinstalling touchpad drivers from hp official download.

I tried a hard reset. (Unplugged all my peripherals and charger from the laptop and held the power button for 15 seconds)
I have tried rolling back touchpad drivers

I have tried selecting a different version of the touchpad driver in device manager.

I also installed windows 10 media creation tool and upgraded windows.

All of my efforts have been to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
