HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae003na
Microsoft Windows 11

Good Day

After replacing my faulty SSD & reinstalling the Windows 11 OS, my Touchpad has lost its partial functionality with no ability to pinch, zoom, scroll using two fingers etc.

Please can anyone advise as I have tried the usual solutions of Device Driver updates in Device Manager but it says all drivers are up to date.

Thanks

@SatWiz, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Install HP Precision Touchpad

Go to the HP Drivers & Software support page:

HP Spectre x360 13-ae003na Drivers

Enter your model “Spectre x360 - 13-ae003na” if it's not auto-detected.

Select Windows 11 as your OS.

Look under categories like Driver - Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices or Touchpad.

Download and install the touchpad driver listed.

Reboot your machine after installation.

Enable Gestures in Settings

Once the proper driver is installed:

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad.

Under Gestures & interaction, make sure:

Scroll & zoom is ON.

Three-finger and four-finger gestures are set to your preference.

Use HP Support Assistant

Download HP Support Assistant from
HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Install and run it.

Check for recommended updates.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
