There seems to be a problem with your HP ENVY x360 15-es1000 laptop where the keyboard and mouse work in BIOS but not within Windows. This is often a driver-related issue that can potentially be resolved by downloading and reinstalling the correct drivers.
Steps to Resolve the Issue:
Driver Download:
- Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
- Enter your product number "446V9AV" and submit.
- Make sure to select the correct Operating System version (Windows 10 64-bit) to access the driver list.
Install the Latest Drivers:
- Look for the necessary drivers under "Keyboard" and "Mouse, Touchpad & Input Devices" categories.
- Additionally, check for updates under "Software, Drivers, and Firmware" for any critical updates that might affect device input operations.
- Download and install the latest drivers following the on-screen instructions.
Restart Your Laptop:
- After installing the necessary drivers, restart your laptop to ensure the drivers are correctly loaded.
Update the BIOS (Optional):
- It's also prudent to update the BIOS to the latest version as it might contain fixes related to system hardware compatibility.
Check Windows Updates:
- Ensure your Windows 10 OS is up to date by checking under "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update".
Hope this helps!
