Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

my problem is anytime I am scrolling with the touchpad i almost every time am hearing a clicking noise. it clicks just after i release my finger from the touchpad. anyone have any information on this? its odd because it is not every single time but more often than not i hear the noise and it is very distracting

I feel it may be due to a loose connection . If your Notebook is in warranty , contact HP technical support and get it repaired  .

Dats really Sad 😞 But please dont worry  . But clicking sound definately seems like hardware issue. As its a brand new unit,the sooner you contact the tech support , the better  .

yeah you are not supposed to hear any clickin gnoise at all from a touch pad are you. is it always supposed to be completely silent? thanks for the help.
