Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My touchpad cursor keeps freezing/lagging. I'll be in the middle of doing work and the cursor starts jumping around, clicking on its own, or it stops moving completely. Sometimes it lasts briefly and I can get it back to normal by pressing down on the right side of the touchpad, but a lot of the time nothing helps, not even turning it off completely. I have to reset or close it and leave it alone for an hour or so.

I already checked to make sure all of my windows updates and driver updates were good to go. I haven't done anything related to the bios because I wasn't sure if it was safe to update them.
