I bought this laptop less than six months ago, and it's already starting to deteriorate. My Last HP laptop also started to become, essentially useless after about six months. I can see a repeating pattern here, so it's unlikely I'll continue purchasing HP products, but in the meantime, I'd like to fix this issue, so that I can still use this laptop in the interim of finding a much better company, with higher standards for product functionality.
My touchpad regularly stops functioning; sometimes, I have to have my hands placed a certain way on the laptop for the touchpand to work. Other times, it will lag, or I'll have to wait or even restart for it to become functional again. Sometimes, the cursor will jump to an entirely new location while using the touchpad. Basically, it rarely works the way it is intended to be used. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled drivers, I have performed recommended updates, and bla bla bla. I'd like a legitimate solution, asap.
