I have had this laptop for around 10 months, with moderate use, and have started to experience problems with the touchpad. The issue seems to be with responding to clicking. Moving the cursor seems ok. Often have to click it several times or change slightly where on the pad I click for it to respond. It is rather frustrating when you are trying to do tasks. I know I can use the click buttons at the top of the touchpad, but I find clicking on the touchpad a lot quicker and more natural.
I have gone through the troubleshooting and had a look at the settings, but nothing has made a difference. It is still a problem that is occurring more and more regularly.
Is there any advice on how to resolve this?
Additionally, I have notice a tiny chip in the outer coating of the screen. Not a major problem, but part of me just keeps getting drawn to it which is annoying. Any idea whether there is an easy way of covering this up? Very minor, but bugs me nonetheless, especially as I have been gentle with the laptop.
Many thanks in advance.

Is there anyone from HP that can assist with this? I have gone through the Support site to try and sort, as it is still under guarantee, but it just keeps sending me back to the community forums. Using the product is proving really frustrating and I would like to speak to someone about a repair.
Thanks.
Andy
