Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
You may have changed some settings in your device manager.
Step 1: Press the Windows button and X to open a menu. Click Device Manager.
Step 2: Find "Mice and other pointing devices" and open the drop-down menu. You will see your mouse and your touchpad options.
Step 3: Right-click your touchpad and click "enable". There you go! Hopefully, it works out.
