Product name: HP 250 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC
Issue: TouchPad missing
It's been missing since the beginning, I can't see any Internal Pointing Devices from the BIOS setup to enable and I installed Windows using an external mouse (the USB receiver works fine).
I cannot enable it from Settings as it doesn't appear.
Funny enough it allows me to enable the Touchpad icon on the taskbar, which I did but it doesn't respond when I click on it.
I went into Device Manager + compared it with my other HP G5 and noticed:
Synaptics HID Device driver is missing from Human Interface Devices
Synaptics HID ClickPad is missing under Mice and other pointing devices.
However, all my drivers are up to date + I tried to uninstall all of those and restart + I checked on hidden drivers too. Please help!
