Touchpad option does not show up anywhere in settings, or under mouse. No option to turn it on and off. It's as if the touchpad does not exist. It simply does not work when notebook is booted up. I do not know of a command to turn it on, either. double tapping top left corner does nothing.
Nor do I see a touchpad FN button on top keyboard bar. It did not work in windows 10, and after upgrade to windows 11, it still did not work. Tried installing a new driver for it from the HP website, that did nothing either.
HOWEVER, IT DOES WORK WHEN I RUN HP PC UEFI HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS COMPONENT TEST FOR MOUSE???
