Omen 15T-dc100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all. So, I just got an HP Omen 15t-dc100 laptop about a week ago, and I love it. Only think that really frustrates me, is the touchpad. When I use two fingers to scroll, it always manages to zoom in. I have looked EVERYWHERE in the settings, but cant find where to disable this. Someone help me turn this off

Hi,

There should be a setting for the Synaptics touchpad.

There are two places you should look.

Open control panel  ( press WinKey + R  and type  control )

Now in Control Panel find the Synaptics clickpad icon or there should be a Synaptics Tab if you open the mouse icon.

Now, if you open the Synaptics icon you should be able to remove the checkmark near Pinch to ZOOM. Mine is in Italian, but you should see in your language

remove checkmarkremove checkmark

if you open the mouse icon you should see Synaptics TAB and click on Clickpad settings to open the above Windows and perform the action described above.

Now, if you have none of the above icons and settings, try reinstalling the driver, rebooting and check again

Hope it helps,

Hi,

In device manager under "Mouse and other input devices" is the Synaptics touch pad listed?

(right-click on Start and click on Device Manager)

You could also try one of the older drivers here from here:

Let me know,

David
