I have a HP 27-a205na 27" all in one PC. Windows 10 x64 22H2 .
The hard disk failed . I installed a new hard disk but I cannot find a driver for the touch screen.
HP Support Assistant says all drivers are up to date and there are no errors in Device Manager but I cannot find a driver for the touch screen.
When I go to HP website it detects the PC but cannot detect drivers for it.
I have installed all drivers manually but there is no driver for the touch screen.
Looking online this seems to be a common problem. Surely there is a fix!!!
Help please.

Hi @gogsck,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you have already installed a new hard disk and are facing issues with the touch screen driver on your HP 27-a205na all-in-one PC, there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve the problem.
- Check Windows Update: Sometimes, touchscreen drivers are included in Windows updates. Make sure you have installed all available updates for your Windows 10 x64 22H2 operating system. Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update" and click on "Check for updates."
- Download drivers from HP website: Visit the official HP support website and navigate to the drivers and downloads section. Enter your PC model, which in this case is HP 27-a205na, and select the correct operating system (Windows 10 64-bit). Look for the touch screen or digitizer driver specifically designed for your model and download it. Install the downloaded driver and restart your PC.
- Use HP Recovery Manager: If your PC came with HP Recovery Manager pre-installed, you can use it to reinstall the original drivers and software. Open the HP Recovery Manager from the Start menu or by pressing the F11 key during startup. Select "Reinstall drivers and/or applications" and follow the on-screen instructions. Look for any touch screen or digitizer-related drivers or software and reinstall them.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

The Computer is completely uptodate with Microsoft Updates (Windows 10 22H2).
HP website can detect the correct computer but it will not find drivers for it. All I get is a spinning wheel. I have left this overnight and still just see the spinning wheel in the morning.
HP support Assistant says the computer is up to date.
I have manually downloaded all updates from HP support site that will install on the computer.
Searching the Internet, this seems to be common issues with no resolution. ???#
